53 - Weep Wowp Woop
What is it with a moose-sized eleven-month-old labrador puppy who's used to being with his mom all the time that he can't spend even one hour, much less the night, all alone in the laundry room without yapping out his high-pitched cry-like-a-girl weep wowp woop whine whine scratch wowp yow? The lad whose bedroom is right above isn't going to sleep well. Neither is his girlfriend. Or maybe they will. I don't want to think about that.
He just doesn't like being alone. If he had his mom, he could tell her how excited he is that tomorrow he is going to get tutored.

Where's Darius's Mom?
ReplyDeleteY'know, you could have let him keep the lad and the GF company ...
TUTORED! You did NOT just quote Gary Larson, did you, Don?
ReplyDeleteI now officially love you.
His mom's the one with his leg in her teeth. She was outside. I put her in with him and he calmed down ... and the thoughtful dears rearranged the laundry room.
ReplyDeleteI'll chew your paw if you chew mine? That's what it looks like.
ReplyDeleteHas the, erm, tutoring taken place?
Oh yes, he is most subdued, and consigned again to a cleaned up and more-dog-proofed laundry room for the next week and a half.
ReplyDeleteHad a lab named Cinders. She was just over a year old when we inherited a 10 month old ninety pound golden retriever puppy named Chelsea. They were BFFs.
ReplyDeleteIt was pouring rain outside one Sunday and we felt sorry for them, so left them locked in while we went to church.
